Frances Stephens Simon

Funeral services were held Monday, November 16, 2009 at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Frances Stephens Simon, age 80, of Pearl, MS who passed away November 14, 2009 at Regency Hospital in Jackson, MS. Internment followed at the Stephens Family Cemetery in Silver Creek. Rev. Steven Andrus, Rev. Jessie Givens and Rev. George Owens officiated. Pall bearers were Keith Hux, Glenn Stephens, William Stephens, Peyton Rice, Darren Higgs and Louis Polk. Mrs. Frances Stephens Simon was born on June 16, 1929 in Newhebron, Mississippi. She was the daughter of Daniel Stephens and Lilly Butler Stephens. Mrs. Simon was a homemaker. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Mrs. Simon is survived by her son, Charles R. Simon of Pearl, MS; a brother, Shelby Stephens of Oakvale; three sisters, Mamie Hux of Natchez, Olene Hudson of Wesson and Kary Lack of Natchez. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Simon, five sisters and a brother.
