Graveside Funeral Services for Mrs. Lula Mae Butler will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at the Drummonds Cemetery in New Hebron. Mrs. Butler passed away from this life on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in New Hebron. Saulters-Moore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be; Kevin Butler, Timothy Butler, Victor Alford, Alexis Butler and Hannah Butler. Lula Mae Butler was born February 18, 1921 in New Hebron to Robert Yates and Pruddie Drummonds Yates. She was a seamstress in the garment industry in Monticello and New Hebron. She was a member of the Church of God. She loved her family. She loved to can, garden, quilt and sew. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, Ledrew Butler; one granddaughter and one grandson. Mrs. Butler is survived by 3 daughters, Betty Lou Davis of Brandon, Nancy (Ed) Colums of Brandon, Carolyn (Mike) Osborne of Brandon; 2 sons, Robert Lewis Butler of Wanilla and Carol (Marylen) Butler of New Hebron; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
