Carl Haddox

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Carl “Bouy” Haddox age 81, of Florence, MS who passed away November 9, 2017 at his residence. Visitation will be from 10:30am to 12:00 noon before the service on Saturday November 11, 2017. Interment will follow in Old Greens Creek Cemetery. Herman Smith will officiate. Pallbearers will be; Chris Henry, Justin Smith, Justin Brent, Rickey Dyess, Mitchell Smith, Steve Smith and Brad Stuart. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss is in charge of all arrangements. Mr. Haddox was born October 16, 1936 in Columbia, MS. He was the son of Carl Eugene Haddox, Sr. and Geneive Lanell Speights. He was an Army Veteran and worked as a salesman in the food industry. He was a member of Old Greens Creek Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge. Mr. Haddox is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lawana Haddox of Florence; His daughter, Dena Haddox Henry (Chris) of Florence; Two granddaughters, Victoria Brent (Justin) and Kerin Smith (Justin) both of Florence; Six great grandchildren, Brandon Kelly, Joel Kelly, Cullen Brent, Maci Smith, Makenzi Smith and Waverly Brent.
