Funeral services will be held Friday, September 1, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Bassfield, MS for Mrs. Thelma Munday, age 94, of Kenner, LA who passed away August 25, 2017 at Covenant Nursing Home in New Orleans, LA. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery in Bassfield. Visitation will be Friday, September 1, 2017 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Bassfield. Father Peter Kmiecik will officiate. Pallbearers will be: Kevin Boudreau, Robert Graves, Greg Brien, Clark Brien, Todd Braves and Ryan Boudreau. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss will handle all arrangements. Mrs. Munday was born December 23, 1922 in Bassfield, MS. She was the daughter of Reed Clark and Katie Kerley Clark. She was an accountant for a hotel. She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Kenner, LA. Mrs. Munday is survived by her brother William Clark of Metairie, LA and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jake Munday; two brothers, Edwin Clark and Seymore Clark and three sisters, Sarah Terrell, Margie Hurst and Jenny Brien.
