Johnny H Whitehead

Graveside services were held Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Prentiss Cemetery in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Johnny H. Whitehead, age 59, of Prentiss, MS who passed away September 29, 2009 at his residence. Rev. Jimmy Whitley officiated. Pall bearers were Jack Woods, Billy Whitley, Don Whitley, Michael Whitehead, Reggie Lott, Bobby Cook, Jimmy Whitley and Jessie Bishop. Mr. Johnny Howard Whitehead was born on April 18, 1950 in Summit, MS. He was the son of Leslie Whitehead and Doris Sanders Ballard. He worked as a Truck Driver in Jackson, MS for a number of years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also of the Baptist faith. Mr. Whitehead is survived by his mother, Doris Ballard of Prentiss and a sister, Patsy Lott of Prentiss. He was preceded in death by his father and three brothers.
