Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Ann Peavey will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Prentiss, MS. Mrs. Peavey, age 74, passed away Friday, August 4, 2017 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. Reverend Ray Hodges will officiate. Interment will follow in New Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 12:30 to 2:00 PM at Saulters Moore Funeral Home. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss is in charge of all arrangements. Pallbearers will be: Brittney Nichols, Carolyn Collins, Gladys Alford, Andrew Peavey, Jeff Peavey, Gavin Daley, Mason Buckley, Kevin Saulters and Chris Saulters. Mrs. Peavey was born on September 14, 1942 in Prentiss, MS. She was the daughter of Ned Sanders and Thelma Roberts Sanders. She was an artist. She was a member of Santee Baptist Church. She is survived by her three sons, James Timothy Peavey (Denise) of Prentiss. Daniel Patrick Peavey of Prentiss and Robert Irvin Peavey (Tracii) of Jackson; Two Brothers, Danny Sanders of Prentiss and Billy Don Sanders of Hickory, NC ; Two sisters, Betty Jo Mullins of Silver Creek and Linda Faye Hodges of New Hebron; Eight Grandchildren, Twenty two great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest C. Peavey; one son, Ernest Christopher Peavey; two sisters, one brother and one granddaughter, Alisha Peavey.
