Dewayne "Dan" Kirkley

Funeral services were held Friday, June 23, 2017 at Dublin Baptist Church in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Virgil Dewayne Kirkley, age 60, of Prentiss, MS who passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 at the Jefferson Davis Co. Hospital in Prentiss. Interment followed in Dublin Cemetery in Prentiss. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss, MS was in charge of arrangements. Rev. Terry Wallace officiated. Pallbearers were: Preston Williams, Russell McAlister, Reggie Myers, Anthony Polk, Prince White Jr., Keldrick Washington and Reggie Herking. Honorary pallbearers were: Tim White and Eddie Reynolds. Mr. Dan Kirkley was born September 18, 1956 in Prentiss, MS to Virgil Kirkley and Joyce Nell Kirkley. He was a mud engineer for the oil and gas industry and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by two sisters, Dawanna Reynolds of Carson and Debbie Farmer (Huiel) of Picayune; three nieces and nephews; four great nieces and nephews as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
