Funeral services for Nannie Lou Thetford were held at 3:00pm on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the Saulters-Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Thetford, age 91, passed away from this life on Friday, April 21 2017 in New Hebron. Reverend Dr. French Tripp and Reverend Joe Gardner officiated and Tony Gray and Dwight Chance provided the musical service. Interment was in the Lone Star Cemetery. Saulters-Moore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Charles Blackburn, Mike Booth, Pat Booth, Tim Booth, Terry McRaney, Kendall McRaney, and Forrest McRaney. Serving as honorary pallbearer was be Calvin McRaney. Nannie Lou Thetford was born on April 1, 1926 in Covington County to Leon and Allie Mae McRaney. Mrs. Thetford was a homemaker and a member of the Prentiss Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, David Thetford; 4 brothers; 1 sister; and a son-in-law, Randy Jones. Survivors include 2 daughters, Marla Broome and her husband Greg of Carson and Martha Jones of New Hebron; 2 grandchildren, Grant Jones and Nealie Jones Bryant; 1 great-grandchild, Eli Bryant; and 1 sister, Margie Booth of Keystone Heights, FL; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation was Sunday from 1pm until 3pm at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home.
