Ernie Lee Sullivan

Funeral services were held Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Mt. Olive, MS for Mrs. Ernie Lee Sullivan, age 86, of Magee, MS, who passed away August 25, 2009 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. Internment followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Rev. Joel Eavenson, Rev. Jerry Sullivan and Rev. Robert Barnes officiated. Pall bearers were Carroll Wigington, Gerald Wigington, Joey Wigington, Kenny Westmoreland, Jimmy Abernathy and Brad Westmoreland. Mrs. Ernie Lee Sullivan was born on June 9, 1923 in Jefferson Davis County, MS. She was the daughter of Duffie C. Wigington and Rhoda Evans Wigington. She worked as a Dietician for Jefferson Davis Community Hospital in Prentiss for 27 years before retiring. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Mrs. Sullivan is survived by her daughters, Kathy Adams of Bogue Chitto, MS and Karen Jackson of Laurel, MS; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Sullivan, three brothers, two sisters and two grandsons.
