Ernest J. Schexnayder

Graveside services were held Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Lonestar-Blackjack Cemetery in Collins, MS for Mr. Ernest Joseph Schexnayder, age 81, who passed away on November 9, 2016 at his residence in Prentiss, MS. Saulters Moore Funeral Service of Prentiss was in charge of arrangements. Rev. Charles Lee Loftin officiated. Pallbearers were Neil Stegall, Tony Kirkley, T.J. Mixon, Ben Flynt, Laine Stegall and Bradlee Legg Deering. Mr. Schexnayder was born on July 15, 1935 in New Orleans, LA to Victor J. and Mae Gaudin Schexnayder. He was a member of the Roman Catholic faith and was a retired Veteran of the United States Air Force. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Rachel Kirkley Schexnayder of Prentiss, MS; one son, Victor Joseph Schexnayder (Stacy) of Prentiss, MS; one daughter Robyn Tengler-Stegall (Neil) of Prairieville, LA; and eight grandchildren.
