Karen Dyess Sylvest

Funeral services were held Monday, July 27, 2009 at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Ms. Karen Dyess Sylvest, age 44, of Waveland, who passed away July 21, 2009 at her residence in Waveland. Internment followed at Greens Creek Cemetery. Rev. Eddie Myers and Wes Haddox officiated. Pall bearers were Brandon Dyess, Kevin Dyess, Eric Dyess, Zack Hurst, Ashley Reid and Rocky Smith. Ms. Sylvest was born in Jefferson Davis County, MS on June 4, 1965. She was the daughter of Mack Dyess Jr. and Marjorie Allen Dyess. She was a Loan Officer with a credit union. She is survived by her son, Justin Sylvest of Bassfield; a daughter, Hannah Sylvest of Bassfield; her mother, Marjorie Dyess; and four brothers, Randy Dyess of Columbia, Mike Dyess of Oakvale, Greg Dyess of Sumrall and Terry Dyess of Oakvale. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.
