Ellis Coleman

Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 11:00 am at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Ellis Coleman, age 84, of Oakvale, who passed away October 3, 2016 at his residence. Interment followed in Society Hill Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Broome officiated. Pallbearers were: Tommy Iovino, Frank Vice, Jr., Dee Dial, Michael Dial, Peter Dial and Luke Coleman. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Ellis was born June 19, 1932 in Alabama. He started working in the paper mill in 1961 in Demopolis Alabama. He worked in St. Regis in 1968 and retired in 1996 from GP. He loved to travel, farm and garden. He was a member of Society Hill Baptist Church and the Lions Club. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Coleman of Oakvale, MS; Two sons, Kent (Becky) Coleman of Oakvale and Shane (Keri) Coleman of Columbia, MS; One grandchild Luke and one sister Virginia Henderson of Orange Beach, AL.
