Mary E. Garner

Memorial services will be held at a later date for Mary Elizabeth Garner, age 71, who passed away September 27, 2016 at her residence in Florence, MS. She was originally from the Fidlers Creek Community. Mary was born in Prentiss, MS on January 20, 1945 to Ike M. Williams and Carlene Mobley Williams. She worked in the industrial area before becoming a homemaker. She was a member of Old Hebron Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Elizabeth Garner and her son Chris Garner both of Pearl, MS. Her brother Lonnie (Marsha) Jones of Yazoo City, MS and her grandchild, Ashley Elizabeth Byers of Waynesboro, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Jerry Paul Jones, Bill Jones and Emmett Ray Mobley.
