Paul Edward Graves

Funeral Services were held Friday, July 29, 2016 at 10:30 am at Santee United Methodist Church for Mr. Paul Edward Graves, age 69, who passed away at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS on July 25, 2016. Interment followed in Bethel Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss handled all arrangements. Rev. Randy Gardner officiated. Pall bearers were: Gary Jackson, Hilton Graves, Paul Dyess, Glen Graves, Adam Terrell and Anthony McNease. Honorary Bearers were: Justin Graves, Joe Morgan and Leffie Graves III. Mr. Paul was born February 7, 1947 in Delhi, LA. He was the son of Leffie Graves Sr. and Mattie Ruth King Graves. He was a motor man for AWI for 26 years. He was a meat cutter for J & J in Bassfield, MS for a number of years. He was a member of Bunker Hill Baptist Church. He is survived by his son, Ashley Graves and grandson Saul Graves, both of Bassfield, MS. His three brothers, Jessie Graves of Oak Grove, LA, Gene Graves and Leffie “Red” Graves, both of Bassfield, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother and one sister.
