Ilda Dilmore

Funeral services were held Monday, June 15, 2009 at Victory Baptist Church in Bassfield, MS for Mrs. Ilda Dilmore, age 75, of Sumrall, who passed away June 13, 2009 at her residence. Internment followed at Double Church Cemetery. Rev. Charles Broome, Bro. Brandy Hayden and Bro. Frank Bishop officiated. Pall bearers were Willie Mack Jones, Daniel Carter, Mike Carter, Mike Smith, Michael Sullivan, Eddie Murray, Gage Smith and Patches Davis. Honorary pall bearers were Dickie Davis, Tinker Graves, Daniel Sullivan, Rachel Sullivan, Holly Douglas, Haley Douglas, Drake Douglas and Ashton Jones. Mrs. Dilmore a native of Mississippi was born March 14, 1934 the daughter of William and Mary Hill Davis. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Jones of Sumrall, Shirley Hall of Sandersville, MS; son, Wm. C. Dilmore of Sanford, MS; brothers, Wm. “Bill” Davis of Foxworth; nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a sister and six brothers.
