Bobby Hartzog

Funeral services were held Friday, June 12, 2009 at Calvary Baptist Church in Silver Creek, MS for Mr. Bobby Hartzog, age 66, of Silver Creek who passed away Monday, June 8, 2009 at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Internment followed at Calvary Cemetery. Rev. Tim Robertson and Rev. Lloyd Rollins officiated. Pall bearers were Timmy Rogillio, Steve Hartzog, Bill Hartzog, Mark Griffin, Clint Rogillio and Dennis Hartzog. Mr. Hartzog was born in Silver Creek, MS on May 19, 1943. He was the son of Homer Hartzog, Sr. and Mary Blount Hartzog. He worked for 23 years as a Supervisor with Miles Lumber Company before retiring. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Rollins Hartzog of Silver Creek; a daughter, Robin Tavarez of Silver Creek; two sons, Brian Hartzog and Richard Hartzog both of Silver Creek; sister, Vernell Daniels of Monticello; brother, Hiram Hartzog of Silver Creek; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
