Funeral Services were held Saturday June 4, 2016 at Saulters Moore Funeral Home in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Curtis Wilson Bridges, Jr., age 79, who passed away on June 2, 2016 in Ridgeland, MS. Interment followed in Whitesand Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Carey Bass officiated. Pallbearers were: Elliott Bridges, Michael Bridges, Darron Bridges, Todd Greene, Clinton Hayman and Randy Greene. Mr. Curtis was born June 24, 1936 in Jefferson Davis, MS. He was the son of Curtis W. Bridges Sr. and Florine Deavers Bridges. He served in the Air Guard for 4 years. He later worked as a tool and die maker for Magna Tech in Mendenhall for 33 years. He was a farmer. He was a deacon at First Baptist Church in Belle Chase, LA and also at Whitesand Baptist Church in Prentiss, MS. He was a Clem Fire Dept. Volunteer. He is survived by his three sons, Wayne Bridges of Clinton MS, Mitchell Bridges of Prentiss, MS and James Bridges of Columbia MS; Ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren and his sister, Mary Nell Garner of Hattiesburg, MS.
