George Polk

Memorial services were held Wednesday, May 27, 2009 for Mr. George Allen Polk, age 62, of Union, MS, who passed away May 24, 2009 at Rush Hospital in Meridian, MS. Rev. Kenneth Roberts officiated. Mr. Polk was born in Jones County MS on March 27, 1947 the son of Henry Allen Polk and Mazzie Polk. He worked as a small engine mechanic. He is survived by his sons, Jeffery Polk of Pace, FL, Gregory Polk of Pensacola, FL, Charles Polk of High Point, NC; a daughter, Vicki Snider of Pensacola, FL; a sister, Clara Ann Smith of Houston, TX; four grandchildren; three nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents.
