Annie Leona Jones

Mrs. Leona Jones Funeral Services were held Saturday May 21, 2016 at Old Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church for Mrs. Annie Leona Jones, age 85, who passed away on May 18, 2016 at her residence in Ridgeland, MS. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home in Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Elder Lonnie Monzingo and Rev. Charles Lee Loftin officiated. Pallbearers were: Brad Jones, Blake Jones, Tony Edwards, Landon Sahler, William Jones and Roy Brookshire. Mrs. Leona was born January 16, 1931 in Mt. Olive, MS to Burr Johnson and Wessie Mosley Johnson. She worked as quality assurance for KLH in Prentiss for a number of years. She was a member of Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, George Jones (Tammy) of Brandon, MS. Three grandchildren; six great grandchildren and her brother, Dan Johnson of Crystal Springs, MS.
