Peggy Wilson

Funeral services were held Monday, May 25, 2009 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Peggy J. Wilson, age 75, of Silver Creek, who passed away May 24, 2009 at Lawrence County Hospital in Monticello. Internment followed at Hepzibah Cemetery. Rev. Derek Lambert officiated. Pall bearers were Ramsey Wilson, Woodie Wilson, Joel Wilson, Ronnie Fortenberry, Billy Smith and Eric Davis. Mrs. Wilson was a native of Lawrence County born August 17, 1933 the daughter of Claude and Mavis Jackson Speights. She worked as a Cafeteria Manager for Lawrence County Schools for more than 23 years. She was a member of Hepzibah Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, John D. Wilson of Silver Creek; two daughters, Brenda Smith Britt of Silver Creek and Ocean Springs, MS, and Lou Polk of Dahlonega, GA; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Johnnie Wilson and a son, Randy Wilson.
