Percy Edsel Bourne

Graveside Services were held Friday May 13, 2016 at Bourn Family Cemetery in Oakvale, MS for Mr. Percy Edsel Bourne, age 86, who passed away on May 6, 2016 at West Jefferson Hospital in Louisiana. Interment followed in Bourne family Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Billy Bridges officiated. Pallbearers were: Brandon Maitreme, Nathan Maitreme, Clyde Maitreme, Lonnie Henderson, Richard Morgan and Allen Howard. Percy was born December 20, 1929. He was the son of William Jackie Bourne and Sarah Bourne. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a truck driver for many years. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Harvey Louisiana. He is survived by his three daughters, Melinda Maitreme (Clyde) of Marrero, LA, Deana Henderson (Lonnie) of Pinch, WV and Donna Morgan (Richard) of Graniteville, SC; his step daughter, Mary Lou Semian of Owensboro, KY; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
