Martha B Little

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in New Hebron, MS for Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Brewer Little, age 98, of Pinola, who passed away May 8, 2009 at her residence. Internment followed at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Rev. Phillip Douglas officiated. Pall bearers were Keith Bryant, Paul Bryant, Charlie Buckley, Jerry Little, Dick Smith and John Mack Smith. Honorary Pall bearer was David Bass. Mrs. Little was born on February 9, 1911 in McComb, Ms. She was the daughter of Roland and Ophelia Richie Brewer. She lived in Chicago, IL for more than 30 years before moving back to the Pleasant Hill Community in 1967. She was a homemaker. She was also a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Lofton of Denver, CO; five grandchildren, Pamela Ashley, Kenneth Little, Mark Wolford, Melodie Craven and Susan Stefanini; seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, R. T. Little, a son, two sisters and six brothers.
