Christine Jones Everett

Funeral Services were held Tuesday December 8, 2015 at Dublin Baptist Church in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Mary Christine Jones Everett, age 93, who passed away on December 5, 2015 at the Jefferson Davis extended care facility. Rev. Robert Sones officiated. Pallbearers were: David Jones, Don Jones, Henry Everett, Chris Sheffield, Bryan Sheffield, David Dyess, and Jason Moore. Saulters Moore Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements Christine was born on November 5, 1922 in Jefferson Davis County, MS to Robert G. Dyess and Hattie Mae Berry. She worked at the welfare office for 30 years. She was a very active member of Dublin Baptist Church and a volunteer for Simpson General in Mendenhall. She is survived by her son, Ronald Jones of Prentiss, MS; her daughter, Brenda Sheffield of Pearl, MS; two daughter in laws, Donna Jones and Sandra Cox; her step son, Henry Everett, III of Hurley, MS; three step daughters, Peggy Dunaway of Brookhaven, MS, Nancy Boggan of Braxton, MS and Dixie Everett of Mendenhall, MS; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; four sisters, Agnes Gilbert of Prentiss, MS, Jean Lembeck of Eunice, LA, Martha Lemoyne of Port Allen, LA and Bobbie Sue Stiglett of Denham Springs, LA.; three brothers, Troy Dyess of Denham Springs, LA, Ralph Dyess of Ogdan, Utah, Harmon Dyess of Prentiss, MS.
