Jimmy Dale Brown

Funeral services were held March 3, 2009 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Jimmy Dale Brown, age 67, of Carson, MS who passed away March 1, 2009 at his residence in Carson, MS. Internment followed at Lone Star Cemetery in Collins. Rev. Ken Roberts officiated. Pall bearers were Joseph Bates, Jonathan Fairly, Rufus Bates III, Brandon Cates, Matt Burrow, Travis Cates and Nicholas Cates. Mr. Brown was born in Collins, MS on May 21, 1941, the son of R. C. Brown and Willie Mae Harrison Brown. He was disabled. He was a member of the Baptist faith for many years. He is survived by his sister, Doris Bates of Carson, MS; sister in law, Betty Brown Fant of Prentiss, MS; brother in law, R. T. Bates of Carson, MS and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Vinson Brown.
