Ninnie Vee Daughdrill

Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Mt. Olive, MS for Mrs. Ninnie Vee Daughdrill, age 83, of Magee, MS who passed away February 21, 2009 at University Medical Center in Jackson. Internment followed at Hopewell Cemetery. Rev. Trent Sullivan and Rev. Joel Eavenson officiated. Pall bearers were Mitchell Roberts, Glen Higdon, Billy Armstrong, Curtis Beckham, Josh Howell and Carroll Otis Wigington. Mrs. Daughdrill was born in Jefferson Davis County, MS on December 27, 1925 the daughter of Luther Jones and Ninnie Smith Jones. She worked for New Hebron Manufacturing Company and Magna Tech in Mendenhall. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Robert Daughdrill of Magee; a daughter, Donna Swarts of Magee; two grandchildren; and a sister, Nita Boleware of Prentiss, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ausby Daughdrill, five brothers and two sisters.
