Mitchell Lowry Moore

Funeral services were held Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Mitchell Lowry Moore, age 70, of Raymond, MS who passed away February 17, 2009 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Dr. Os Barnes officiated. Internment followed at Blount Cemetery in Carson, MS. Pall Bearers were Dennis Ryan, Allen Polk, Patrick Ryan, John Ryan, Kevin Hutchinson, Lee Bradford, Dan Lowery and Clark Lowery. Mr. Moore was born in Scooba, MS on July 30, 1938, the son of Robert and Catherine Lowry Moore. He worked for Advantage Sales & Marketing for more than 25 years. He was a member of Raymond Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed fishing and was a veteran of the US Army. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Moore of Raymond; daughters, Catherine Ryan of Wesson, MS and Laura Polk of Raymond; a brother, Oliver Moore of Clinton, MS; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Melissa Moore.
