Louise F. Cain Hartzog

Graveside services were held Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Prentiss Cemetery for Mrs. Louise F. Cain Hartzog, age 82, of Prentiss, MS who passed away on February 15, 2009 at her residence. Rev. Charles Waddell officiated. Pall bearers were Charles Dumas, Willard Davis and Tony Waits. Mrs. Hartzog was born in Marlow, OK on September 12, 1926, the daughter of Ross Cain and Bertha Snow Cain. Louise was a homemaker all of her life. Her heart was as good as gold and she was loved by many. She was a member of Prentiss United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Meda Ross McCray and husband, Phil of Wetumpka, AL; a sister, Kathryn Mims of Sacramento, CA; two grandchildren, Lauren Louise Faulk of Washington, PA and James Ross Faulk of Montgomery, AL; and one great grandchild, Taylor Elizabeth Faulk of Montgomery, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 40 years, James F. Hartzog, a daughter Mollie B. Hartzog and a brother Sam Cain. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prentiss United Methodist Church.
