Dale S. Shoemake

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Santee Baptist Church in Bassfield, MS with interment to follow at Santee Baptist Cemetery for Mr. Dale Seborn Shoemake, age 63, of Prentiss, MS who died February 12, 2009 at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital in Prentiss. The body will lie in state at the church at 10:00 A.M. Visitation will begin at 4:30 P.M. Friday, February 13, 2009 at Saulters Moore Funeral Home in Prentiss. Mr. Shoemake was born in Jefferson Davis County, MS on October 9, 1945, the son of J.C. and Ruth Dyess Shoemake. He was a US Army Veteran and retired after 28 years from the U.S. Army National Guard in C.S.M.S. shop. He was a member of Santee Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Linda Shoemake of Prentiss; one son, Glendale Shoemake of Prentiss; three daughters, Raylean Thompson, Dolly Shoemake, and Stacy Allen all of Prentiss; four sisters, Betty Daley of Carson, Janice Roberts of Lone Star, Debbie Langley of Prentiss, and Kay Gauthier of Buech, LA. and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
