Jimmy Earl Boleware died at Mississippi Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS on July 6, 2015. He was 80 years old. Jim was born on February 25, 1935 in Jefferson Davis County. He married Bobbie King in 1955. After serving in the Army from 1957-1959, he worked for Union Lumber Company in Willits, CA and Kelly Moore Paint Company in San Carlos, CA. In 1968, he returned to Prentiss and worked for St. Regis Paper Company as a Data Processing Manager. In 1985, he began working for Champion International at the Pensacola, FL paper mill as a Business Systems Consultant. He retired in 1995 and dedicated his time to farming and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Prentiss Baptist Church, where he was a dedicated member of his Sunday School Class. He was an active member and past Master at the Mount Carmel Masonic Lodge and Carley Lodge. He was also a member of the Hattiesburg Scottish Rite Body where he received the 32nd degree in Masonry. Jim was also a member of the Grand York Rite Body and a member of the Wahabi Temple in Jackson, MS. He was a commissioner for the Jefferson Davis County Soil & Water Conservation District where he served for 13 years. He received the 1998 Grassland Conservation Award. He served on the Board of Directors of the Jefferson Davis Farm Bureau. He was a member of the Prentiss Lions Club, where he served as President in 1983-84. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Bobbie King Boleware; his son, Dr. Edwin G. Boleware and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Blake Edwin Boleware and Amanda Christine Boleware all of Vicksburg; Sisters: Gladys Pellissier (Gary) of Las Vegas, NV, Pat Dowe of Palm Bay, FL and Peggy Palmer of Austin, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents Earley F. and Velma Whitehead Boleware, Essie Boleware Stafford and Wilford Stafford and his brother Billy R. Boleware. Honorary Pallbearers are the Jim Parkman Sunday School Class and members of the Mt. Carmel Masonic Lodge. Services were held at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home with burial in Prentiss Cemetery. It was officiated by Reverend Ben James and Reverend Charles Lee Lofton. Pallbearers were: David E.
