Elizabeth Delancey

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Antioch Baptist Church for Frankie Elizabeth Delancey, age 77, of Prentiss, MS who died on January 12, 2009 at her residence. Rev. John Barnes III, Rev. Butch Harmon and Rev. Buck Rester officiated. Interment followed at Antioch Cemetery. Pall bearers were: Ruben Rester, Jared Rester, Allen Lane, Samuel Rester, Scott Reynolds and Tony Reynolds. Mrs. Delancey was born in Jefferson Davis County on August 23, 1931 the daughter of James and Hulon Berry Lane. She retired as a purchasing clerk from New Hebron Manufacturing where she worked for more than 20 years. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and WMU. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Rester and husband, Flavol of Silver Creek; Margaret Reynolds and husband, Stephen of New Hebron; five grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bobby Delancey and two brothers.
