Jimmy Gerald Buckley

Graveside services were held Saturday April 25, 2015 at Salem Cemetery in Cato, MS for Mr. Jimmie Gerald Buckley, age 89, of Brookhaven, who passed away on April 22, 2015 at Silver Cross Nursing Center in Brookhaven, MS. Interment immediately followed the services. Saulters -Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Mike May officiated. Pall bearers were: Jeremy Buckley, Joseph Buckley, Josh Buckley, Jonathan Guy, Michael Johnson, David Griffin, Jonathan Jordon, and Brian Jordon. Mr. Jimmie Gerald Buckley was born on December 20, 1925 in Jefferson Davis County, MS. He was the son of Noel Webster Buckley and Susie Brady Buckley. He was a WWII Navy Veteran. He was a graduate of New Orleans Theological Seminary. He was a Minister of Education and Director of church education in churches both in Mississippi and Louisiana. Mr. Buckley is survived by his daughter, Joyce Johnson of Lucedale, MS; two sons, Paul Buckley of Brandon, MS and Ben Buckley of Crystal Springs, MS; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
