Martha Lee King

Funeral services were held Friday March 20, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Martha Lee King, age 82, who passed away on March 15, 2015 at The Myrtles Nursing Center in Columbia, MS. Interment followed at Advance Cemetery in Sumrall. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Valton Douglas officiated. Pall bearers were: Thomas Nelson, Joey Beard, Ben King, Greg King, Steven Burkhardt and Kris King. Honorary pallbearer was Nick Russell. Martha was born on October 20, 1932 in Marion County MS. She was the daughter of Mr. Issac B. Hudson and Mary Jane Napier. She was a homemaker. She was a resident at The Myrtles in Columbia, MS. She is survived by three sons, Billy King of Carson, MS, Willie King of Jayess, MS and Mike King of Pinola, MS; One daughter Judy Dyess of Carson, Ms; Ten grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild; One brother, M. L. Hudson of North Carolina; Two sisters, Sally Edwards and Clarisie Thompson both of D’ Lo, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, six brothers and three sisters.
