Jewel Rowley

Funeral services for Mrs. Addie Jewel Rowley, age 85, will be held Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 11:00 AM, at Oakvale Baptist Church in Lawrence County. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the church Friday, December 5th beginning at 5:00 P.M. Mrs. Rowley was a member of Oakvale Baptist Church. She owned and operated a beauty shop in Oakvale for 50 years. She is survived by her husband, Sedgie Rowley of Oakvale, one daughter, Anita Carney and husband, Jeffery, of Mendenhall, a foster son, Gary Tidwell of Oakvale, eight grandchildren, and a sister, Coyce Williamson of Oakvale. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Michael, and one brother.
