Vanessa King Hanegan

Funeral services were held Monday January 12, 2015 at Saulters Moore Chapel in Prentiss MS for Mrs. Vanessa Gayle King Hanegan, age 36, who passed away on January 8, 2015 at her residence in Hattiesburg, MS. Interment followed at Military Cemetery in Sumrall. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Nathan Barber officiated. Pall bearers were: Gavin Daughdrill, Layke Daughdrill, Trent Hanegan, Jason Harvey, Andy Moore and Ryan Shirley Vanessa was born on May 1, 1978 in Hattiesburg, MS. She was the daughter of Joe Mark King and Pam Deen. She was a graduate of Jones County Community College and also attended USA and William Carey. She was a homemaker and a member of Crosspoint church. She is survived by her husband, Jeff and her son Brady Hanegan of Hattiesburg, MS. Her mother and step father Pam and Dale Dye of Bassfield, MS. Her father and step mother Mark and Patty King of Prentiss, MS. Her maternal grandmother, Faye Deen of Bassfield, MS. Her paternal grandmother, Chloe King of Prentiss, MS. Her step sister, Rebecca Hendrix of Prentiss, MS. Two brothers, Layke Daughdrill of Prentiss, MS and Gavin Daughdrill of Columbia MS.
