Betty Sue O'Quinn

Funeral services were held Tuesday January 6, 2015 at Greens Creek Baptist Church in Carson for Mrs. Betty Sue O’Quinn, age 66, who passed away on January 1, 2015 at her residence in Carson. Interment followed at Greens Creek Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Bob Burge officiated. Pall bearers were, Sam Dicks, James Marty Kerley, Roy Mitchell Smith, Aubrey Dyess, Dale Dyess and Greg McRaney. Betty was born on December 27, 1948 in Mississippi. She was the daughter of Jeff Mohon and Eva Mae Fuller. She worked as a waitress for several restaurants in Prentiss and as a cook for M. G. Dyess for six years. She also worked at KLH and recently was a homemaker. She is survived by her son, Billy Ray O’Quinn of Carson, Ms. Three daughters, Wanda O’Quinn of Prentiss, Ms., Cindy Tomlinson of Clarksville, Arkansas and Juanita McNease of Carson, Ms. Thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Four brothers, J.D. Mohon of Denham Springs, La., J.P. Mohon of Denham Springs, La., McArthur Mohon of Amite, La., and Richard Mohon of Brookhaven, Ms. Her sister, Lucille Hendrix of Amite, La.
