Jeanette Hunter

Funeral Services were held Monday, November 3, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel for Jeanette Lenora Hunter, age 70, of Prentiss, MS who died on October 31, 2008 at Jefferson Davis Extended Care Facility in Prentiss. Rev. Tommy Broom and Rev. Robby Hathorn officiated. Internment followed at Bethany Cemetery. Pall bearers were Brad Jones, Blake Jones, Tyler Burrow, Justin Harvey, Christopher Harvey and Matthew Harvey. Mrs. Hunter was born in Patterson, MS on July 5, 1938, the daughter of Byron Lee McClure and Bessie Lenora Hynum. She was a beautician in Carson for 13 years before attending nursing school and becoming an LPN. She was also belonged to the Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband, Tommie Hunter of Prentiss; son, Mitchell Harvey of Monticello; daughters, Kim Lott of Petal, Tammy Jones of Brandon, step-daughter, Debbie Burrow of Prentiss; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother, John McClure of Hattiesburg; and a sister, Julia Fay Pigott of Magnolia, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and four sisters.
