Michael Hanegan Sr.

Graveside services were held Monday November 24, 2014 at St. James Cemetery in Bassfield, MS for Mr. Michael Joseph Hanegan Sr., age 66, who passed away on November 20, 2014 at the Whitfield Hospital in Whitfield, Ms. Interment immediately followed services. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Father Peter Varghese officiated. Michael was born on October 9, 2014 in Jefferson Davis County. He was the son of Elmo Peter Hanegan and Marcellene Daley. He worked as a mechanic for a clothing factory in Bassfield for a number of years. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church. He is survived by his two sons Michael Joseph Hanegan Jr. of Ringgold Georgia and Jeff Hanegan of Sumrall. His daughter, Ashley Hanegan of Hattiesburg and seven grandchildren. Two brothers, David Hanegan of Bassfield and Lionel Hanegan of Weatherford, Tx. Three sisters, Annie Laura Herrinton of Rowlett, Tx, Larraine Bass of Prentiss and Ivy Sylvest of Bassfield.
