Tommie S. Vinson

Funeral services were held Friday November 21, 2014 at Saulters Moore Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Tommie Sue Vinson, age 81, who passed away on November 18, 2014 at the Arrington Living Center in Collins. Interment followed at Hepzibah Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Ben James officiated. Pall bearers were: Sonny White, John Thomas Polk, Warren Hedgepeth, Stan Smith, Eric Smith and Brett Smith Tommie was born on July 26, 1933 in Mississippi. She was the daughter of James Boyd Speights and Mae Speights. She worked as a clerk for Piggly Wiggly for a number of years. She also worked for the New Hebron Manufacturing Company and Speights dry goods store. She was a member of Prentiss Baptist Church and a member in the order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her Son Jimmy Vinson of Monticello. Two daughters, Patty Smith of Collins and Vicki Breazeale of Ft. Walton Beach, Fl. Six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and her sister, Nelda Wood of Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and two sisters.
