Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 15th, 2008, at Saulters-Moore Funeral Chapel for Thomas Scott Thompson, age 100, of New Hebron, MS, who died October 12th at his residence. Rev. Mike Dubose and Vernon Errington officiated. Interment followed at New Hebron Cemetery with Saulters-Moore Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pall Bearers were: Ricky Killingsworth, Robbie Killingsworth, Ric Killingsworth, Cory Killingsworth, Tyson Kirkland, and Rocky Wicker. Mr. Thompson was born in Newhebron on May 16, 1908 the son of Pascal Eugene Thompson and Josephen Evans Thompson. He was married to Sue Thompson for almost 76 years. He was a farmer and a mechanic. He also worked for the Crooked Creek Water Association and was a member of New Hebron Methodist Church. Mr. Thompson is survived by his daughter--Pat Killingsworth of New Hebron, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sue Thompson, and two brothers and sisters.
