Funeral services for Jerry Hugh Cole were held Tuesday 10-14-14 for 11:00 am at Saulters Moore Chapel in Prentiss. Age 78, who passed away on October 11, 2014 at his residence in Carson. Interment followed at Dublin cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Benji Sessums and Dr. F. W. Tripp officiated. Pallbearers were: Rick Barrett, Brad Scuch, Brandon Williamson, Timothy Harris, Marshall Warden and James Gatewood. Jerry was the son of Hugh and Frankie Blackmon Cole and was born in Jefferson Davis Co. He attended PRCC and USM. He retired in 1996 as the inventory control clerk for Georgia Pacific. He was a member of Carson Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Martha H. Cole of Carson. His son, Gordon Cole of Laurel. His daughter Jerri Rogers of Collins. His grandchild, Cole Rogers of Collins. His sister, Syble Cole of Carson. His step son, Timothy Harris of Mt. Olive and his step daughter, Donna Warden of Lumberton.
