Tanya Christine Shows

Tanya Christine Shows, age 38. Beloved wife of Keith Shows, mother of Morgan and Tyler, daughter of Peggy Purvis, daughter in-law of Larry and Barbara, step sister of Hardy, Donald and Paula and aunt to several nieces and nephews went to be with the Lord on Sunday 9-7-2014. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Kiley Young and Rev. Sonny Adkins officiated. Pall bearers were, Benjie Jackson, Traylor Jackson, Toby Douglas, Kevin Kirk, Kirk Shows and Jamie Stuckey Tanya was born on October 29, 1975 in Jackson, MS. She was a resident of New Hebron and member of New Hebron Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and a former employee for seven years at the hand center in St. Dominic Hospital. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Henry Fortenberry, her step father Donald Purvis and her uncle Larry Chalk. Visitation was held at Saulters Moore funeral home in Prentiss Thursday 9-11-14 for 5:30pm and again Friday 9-12-14 for 10:00 am at the New Hebron Baptist Church. The funeral service was held Friday at 11:00 am at the New Hebron Baptist Church and interment followed at New Hebron Cemetery.
