Clara Estelle Lindsey

Funeral services were held Saturday August 9, 2014 at Saulters Moore Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Clara Estelle Lindsey, age 92, who passed away on August 6, 2014 at her residence in Prentiss. Interment followed at Antioch Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Butch Harmon and Rev. John Barnes officiated. Pall bearers were, Danny Jones, Michael Loftin, Kyle Loftin, Camaron Hemphill and Sean Loftin. Estelle was born on June 22, 1922 in Vaiden, MS. She was the daughter of James Walter Lee and Clara Muirhead. She worked as a seamstress in a garment factory in Jackson and taught Sunday school for many years. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She is survived by her son David Shivers of Prentiss, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Harold Shivers and Bill Lindsey. One daughter and one sister.
