Jerry Bridges

Funeral services were held Monday, May 12, 2014 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Jerry Bridges, age 54, of New Hebron, MS who passed away on May 8, 2014. Interment followed at Whitesand Cemetery in New Hebron, MS. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Terry Phillips and Rev. Sonny Adkins officiated. Pall bearers were Scott Taylor, Thomas Bridges, Carter Bridges, Terry Newsom, Danny Newsom and Sonny Langston. Jerry was born on July 30, 1959. He was the son of Coy Glenn Bridges and Tommie Jean Sumrall Bridges. He was a member of Old Hebron Baptist Church. He worked for Southern Natural Gas and later El Paso Gas companies for a total of 33 years. He was an avid motorcycle rider. Mr. Bridges is survived by one son Phillip Bridges of Mendenhall, MS. one daughter Ashley Taylor of Brandon, MS. One grandson Knox Taylor. His Mother Tommie Bridges of New Hebron, MS. One sister Bonnie Bridges of New Hebron, MS. He was preceded in death by his father Coy Glen Bridges and one brother Joey Bridges.
