Lawrence Dale Sutton

Funeral services were held Monday, May 5, 2014 at Crooked Creek Baptist Church in Silver Creek, MS for Mr. Lawrence Dale Sutton, age 79, of Silver Creek, who passed away on May 3, 2014 at his residence. Interment followed at Crooked Creek Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Tim Hudson officiated. Pall bearers were Dillon Crawford, Patrick Sutton, Daniel Hudson, Randall Sutton, Jaen Thurman, Hunter Sutton and Devin Thurman. A native of Lawrence County, Lawrence Dale Sutton was born on March 29, 1935. He was the son of Waller Lamar Sutton and Dotis Dampeer Sutton. He was the owner and cook at the Highway 43 Food Mart. He was a Mason of the Silver Creek Lodge and a member of Crooked Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Sutton is survived by his wife, Sharon Sutton of Silver Creek, MS; his sons, Pat Sutton of New Hebron, MS and Ted Sutton of Silver Creek, MS; his daughters, Ramona Kelly of Magee, MS, Lisa Linnstaedter of Hawkins, TX, Tisha Hudson of Mathison, MS, Shelly Meese of Wesson, MS and Kim Crawford of New Hebron, MS; his twenty one grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; and his brother Homer Leigh Sutton of Monticello, MS.
