Hilton Greene

Funeral services were held Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Hilton Greene, age 80, of Carson, MS who passed away on March 27, 2014. Interment followed at Carson Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Robby Hathorn and Rev. Randy Easterling officiated. Pall bearers were Josh McPherson, Jimmy Greene, Blake Shows, Dustin Carter, Wayne Bridges and William Campbell.    Mr. Samuel Hilton Greene was born on March 28, 1933 in Jefferson Davis County, MS. He was the son of Donnie C. Greene and Dora McPhail Greene. He was a veteran of the US Army and served in the Korean War. He worked at the City of Jackson Water Department for twenty eight years and retired as the Chief Operator. He was a member of the National Water Works Association and Carson Methodist Church.  Mr. Greene is survived by his wife, Nancy McNease Greene of Carson, MS; his son, Todd Greene of Harrisville, MS; his daughter Renee’ McPherson of Braxton, MS; his five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.; and his sisters, Barbara Bass of Prentiss, MS and Wanda Johnson of Carson, MS.
