Juanita Bridges Jones

Funeral services were held Monday, March 24, 2014, at New Hebron Baptist Church in New Hebron, MS for Mrs. Juanita Bridges Jones, age 90, of Mendenhall, formerly of New Hebron, who passed away on March 21, 2014 at Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall, MS. Interment followed at New Hebron Cemetery. Bro Sonny Adkins and Bro. Tyler Chavis officiated. Pallbearers were Michael Jones, Jr., Zack Jones, Danny Williams, Ryan Williams, Scott Carey, Nicholas Carey, Will Jones, and Joshua Carey. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss, MS was in charge of all arrangements. Juanita (Nita) Bridges Jones was born in Vivian, LA on January 8, 1924. She was the daughter of Audie Reginald Pearson and Laura Thompson Pearson. She was the owner of New Hebron Hardware for twenty years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and New Hebron Baptist Church.   Mrs. Jones is survived by her sons, Ronnie Jones of New Hebron, MS and Mike Jones of Madison, MS; her five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; her step daughter, Paulette Foster of New Hebron, MS; and her sister, Mildred Dukes of Booneville, MO.
