William "Bill" Bourne

Graveside services were held Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Whitesand Cemetery in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Bill Bourne, age 71, of Prentiss, who passed away on January 6, 2014 at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital in Prentiss. Interment immediately followed the services. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Charles Burnham officiated. Pall bearers were Kabe Banes, Frank Riley, Jasper Lee, Eric Dyess, Jerry McRaney and Wesley Daughdrill. Mr. William “Bill” Webster Bourne was born on March 21, 1942 in Lawrence County, MS. He was the son of Theodore Bourne and Virgie Hathorn Bourne. He served in the US Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked as a mechanic with the local pipeline for twenty years and was a member of Oakvale Baptist Church. Mr. Bourne is survived by his son, Blake Bourne of Ridgeland, MS; his brothers, Harold Bourne of Oakvale, MS and James Bourne of Austin, TX.
