Funeral services were held Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Bethany Baptist Church in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Addie Mae Coulter, age 75, of Covington, LA, formerly of Prentiss, who passed away on December 16, 2013. Interment followed at Bethany Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Rod King and Rev. Buddy Keys officiated. Pall bearers were Wayne Smith, Randy Miller, Howard Kelly, Frank Riley, Josh King and David King. Honorary pall bearers were Scott Coulter, Arthur Gregory, Hunter Gregory and Benjamin King. A native of Jefferson Davis County, Mrs. Addie Mae Coulter was born on August 3, 1938. She was the daughter of John Henry McPhail and Tina Polk. She worked for several different companies including, Edward Hyman Manufacturing, New Hebron Manufacturing both in New Hebron and was a cook at the Country Kitchen in Prentiss. She also enjoyed children and kept children in her home for several years. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Mrs. Coulter is survived by her daughters, Renea Daley and Lisa Coulter both of Abita Springs, LA; her son, Keith Coulter of Calhoun, KY; her five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and her step-sister, Ruby Dickens of Carson, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Malcom Coulter, her daughter, Vickie Coulter, one brother and two sisters.
