Ophia Elizabeth Wallace

Funeral services were held Monday, July 29, 2013 at Dublin Baptist Church in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Ophia Wallace, age 70, of Carson, MS, who passed away on July 25, 2013. Interment followed at Dublin Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Robert Cooper, Rev. Varion Stogner and Rev. Robert Sones officiated. Pall bearers were Marinda Richardson, Theresa Sims, Ashley Wallace, Steven Kearcher, Preston Williams, James Williams, Richard Leuer and Richie Little. Mrs. Ophia Elizabeth Wallace was born on December 29, 1942 in Jefferson Davis County, MS. She was the daughter of John William Kirkley and Elizabeth Speights Kirkley. She worked for many years at Piggly Wiggly in Prentiss. She was a member of Dublin Baptist Church. Mrs. Wallace is survived by her son, William Wallace of Pearl, MS; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; her brother, Billy Kirkley of Prentiss, MS; and her sisters, Katherine Lopez of Carson, MS, Elsie Little of Florence, MS and Evelyn Williams of Carson, MS.
