Marty Greene

Funeral services were held Monday, July 1, 2013 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Marty Greene, age 52, of Columbia, MS who passed away on June 28 at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg. Interment followed at Carson Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Valton Douglas and Rev. Carey Bass officiated. Pall bearers were Paul Manning, James Bridges, Wayne Bridges, Mitchell Bridges, James Fabrot and C. A. Smith. A native of Prentiss, Larry Maurice “Marty” Greene was born on March 10, 1961. He was the son of Larry Boyd Greene and Loretta Fortenberry Greene. He held various positions throughout his work career. He worked for Noble Drilling Offshore as a Crane Operator, for Miles Lumber Company in Bogalusa, La and was currently the Property Manager for Pearl Bluff Farms in Columbia, MS. He was a member of Carson Baptist Church. Mr. Greene is survived by his son, Chris Greene of Hattiesburg, MS; his daughter, Brigitta Greene of Poplarville, MS; his mother Loretta Greene of Carson, MS; his sister, Amanda Manning of Pearl, MS; and his brother, Randy Greene of Carson, MS.
